What is the Teen Filmmaker Lab?
The NW Film Camp Teen Filmmaker Lab is an intensive, multi-season program designed for young filmmakers in the Pacific Northwest. Supported by grants, donors, and industry partners, this free program provides hands-on training in all aspects of filmmaking—from scriptwriting to production and distribution. Participants will collaborate both online and in-person in Seattle and Portland.
Program Breakdown
Winter (Pre-Production)
Develop scripts, pitch decks, storyboards, and production plans
Gain essential pre-production skills to shape your vision

Spring (Production Prep)
Budgeting, casting, and crew assembly
Location scouting and table readings
Learn hands-on industry techniques
